Morganite – A Rare Pink Gem from the Beryl Group
Morganite is a rare pink variety of the mineral beryl, which also includes well-known gemstones such as emerald (green beryl), aquamarine (blue beryl), heliodor (yellow beryl) or goshenite (clear beryl).
The color of morganite ranges from soft pink to salmon to peach, thanks to traces of manganese in its crystal structure. This shade is a symbol of tenderness, romance and mental harmony, which makes morganite a popular stone not only for jewelry, but also for collectors and investors.
